    Might also check Task Scheduler to see if something is activating every six hours. Could also see if disabling scheduled tasks one at a time has any effect. Seems strange it appears to be time based.

    RAM mismatch to hardware can cause all kinds of weird issues. Glad you got it sorted and the seller knew how to correct it.

    I don't. I was showing what Intel reports if the display output is set correctly to the nVidia GPU.

    This is what Intel Command Center shows since I have primary GPU set to Nvidia.

    I'd try the newest. If that doesn't work I would delete all the drivers and uninstall the graphics card. Makes sure Windows update is enabled and reboot. Take any precautions you feel are necessary like copy of latest driver, restore point, etc. Just guessing you have a CPU with video also...

    You mention you've used 3 different drivers. Are you presently using the newest? Gaming or Studio?

    Closed lid laptop with external keyboard, monitor and Bluetooth mouse here. Keyboard sits on closed lid with laptop tucked under the monitor. It never goes anywhere.

    No issues with my laptop using the Nvidia GPU with HDMI monitor connected. Does have the Intel GPU of course but I have the RTX3060 selected as primary.

    Good point. WireGuard uses peer to peer so keeping IPv6 enabled should make it a bit faster it would seem.
