Hi, I am trying to build my own cursor theme. Wondering which sizes will be best fit so that it supports all standard screen sizes.
Currently, I am planning 96px, 64, 48, 32 and 24px. Is that ok for high-resolution monitors? They are rendered in 96 DPI. Thanks.
Tried this, and now the error is gone :)

No, GIMP does not install any fonts, to my knowledge. This is a normal problem. I have this issue with numerous other programs where the default system emoji won't work.
Is anyone using Windows 11 Pro as a VM in Ubuntu? For me, it said the system does not meet the requirements. Is it because I tried to create a VM in Ubuntu (VirtualBox 6.1)? Is there any policy that says no VM in Ubuntu? I tried to use a portable SSD to keep the VDI file.
PS: I had a working...
Yes, a compatible font type
Possibly something hard coded into Photoshop. I have the same issue with GIMP.

Google Noto emojis have a kind of overriiding other fonts habit from what I have seen. I had to clear the font cache before my changes would apply.
My idea is to recompile the Windows 3D Emoji.ttf as Segoe UI Emoji. It is a pro task but there are tools which can do it. If can do that, Windows 11 might accept 3D emojis as Segoe UI Emoji.
I do not understand what you are trying to say about Noto Emoji and EmojiOne (which is JoyPixels now)...
I have not worked on it yet. Found these
