OK just tested it and worked as needed. It does pop up with a 1 minute warning but unsure if I could do anything in that time frame to save or not but not really an issue after I was rethinking it above!
Thanks again!
for the most part honestly though thinking of this not sure there is any work to really ever save as emails also leave draft versions so even that sort of auto saves. And that's really the only thing so thinking that maybe save isn't such an issue after all.
Thanks for the input!!!
Roger on the first 2 seconds. So assuming I merely use /f will this give me a warning if so how much of a warning or what do I need to add to the arguments to set up such a warning? being I will be running shutdown as the program/script do I nee the /s or not? as I mentioned watched several...
OK So I need to shut down every day at 1AM as I sometimes tend to fall asleep around this time and don't always shut down before hand so I want my computer to shut down at 1AM every single day.
That said I know where to set this up but a couple of questions about arguments and such.
1) So a...
The video had the update number in the title
Windows 11 24H2
And no they didn't and returning it or restoring it would not have fixed the problem since 1 the update would just redownload and 2 it's not a computer issue it's an update issue the video and geek squad all agreed on this point...
So I got a new laptop about 2 weeks ago and all was good at the start when I would boot up the keyboard would come on like it should, But following an update I started to have issues where when I would boot up the keyboard would not turn on can't type and back lighting not working but if I did a...
The coding for the menu doesn't work I tried both enable and disable and neither changed the menu even downloading the installer. This is the issue I was having with codes I found for doing this. Those too didn't change it.
In File explorer I prefer my old menu when I right click on a file. Right now when I right click I get the following menu
As you can see there is a SHOW MORE OPTIONS text at bottom of menu if I click that I get this menu instead
I much prefer this second menu as I know right off where...
That seems to be even during use my case it's only on the first start up after the restart the keyboards fine no issues at all until the next time I shut down then boot up say like in the morning and from the video it sounds like it all started with a certain update in Windows.
Quick update on this issue. So I restarted tonight after reinstalling the keyboard and that also did not fix this issue.
So have
Updated Windows
Updated Keyboard Drivers (Both were up to date no no update was done)
Reinstalled both keyboards in Device Manager
Hi

Perfect thanks not sure why MS would change something as basic as moving a file after it's been this way for decades and to change it to making a link is a stupid move! Most people want to move a file not make a shortcut and there was always a command if they did want to make the shortcut option
OK So I got my new laptop and got setting it up and some of the program install files I had in my downloads I wanted to move them to a different folder but oddly windows now creates a link to the file i the new folder rather then moving it when I try and drop and drag the file to the new folder...
