Is this something to do with all the work on updating certs ?
This gets more confusing all the time. I just updated to your latest check_uefi-ca2023.ps1 and this are the results:
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> powershell -nop -ep bypass -f C:\temp7\check_uefi-ca2023.ps1
Secure Boot: ON...
Thanks but I don't think 700+ in 6 days is 'normal'. It clutters up the EV if I want to look for something else.
EDIT: Did a repair/install 6 days ago. Count before that was over 12,000 and counting.
I would like to also find a cure for this issue. I've been for years now just suppressing it in Event Viewer Application->filter current log
and just entering in the All ID's Field: -16384,-16394.
That gets old having to do it on every restart.
I see the same, search for cop in the task manager, it show as a background process->Edge. I think its supposed to close when you close Edge but Copilot still shows it in background. I checked Edge settings to stop background with Edge closed, but its not making Copilot background stop/go...
Okay, I admit I'm having trouble keeping up with all the new scripts. I last downloaded new scrips on 4/18 here is the output for the DBXbin:
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> powershell -nop -ep bypass -f C:\temp3\secureboot-ca-2023-updates\check_dbxupdate.bin.ps1
SUCCESS: Matched 278/278 EFI...
