Valid point. I should also have mentioned that I have MS Office Professional Plus 2021 on one of my laptops with the same two Exchange email accounts, and they work together without issues.

I use Outlook 2016. I have two email accounts configured via Exchange and don't have the problem you're describing, so I don't think that's the cause. I don't have any suggestions for you though, sorry.

Yes, I have a 2.1 speaker setup which only requires a single stereo out jack — the sub crossover is handled by the speakers. I installed the Sound Blaster because the onboard Realtek audio was distorting during multitasking. The Sound Blaster fixes that problem.

Currently the desktop can be displayed by clicking on the "show desktop" button at the end of the taskbar, but is there a way to get the desktop to display just by hovering over the button as was possible in Windows 10? TIA
