ALL FIXED - just gone, once again to Microsoft Store/ Clicked on Library/ Clicked on Get Updates and a new 38.47Mb Update for Mail and Calendar appeared - after installation Calendar now opening OK. There appears to have been a major appearance change.

Surely you may be a bit confused? For me, my Outlook Calendar is separate to my Windows Calendar - one I use for 'work' and the other for 'personal' events.

In my case it is a very recent Mail & Calendar app update that, I believe, started the problem of Calendar opening. I cannot seem to find in Microsoft Store a way to uninstall or roll back an app update. Anyone know how to ?? (PS I do know how to uninstall a Windows Update)

This problem appears to have been caused by a very recent update of the Mail and Calendar app. For some giving the app a 'Reset' cures the problem - for others this does not work.

I did not dare trying the 'Reset' as I believe this would cause a total loss of all my past, present & furture calendar events. Am I correct ? I'm glad I started this Thread as in the past when problems like this have happened, I've often plunged in changing everything to try and achieve a fix...
