it seems this one update is having bit of trouble downloading. an hour ago it was at 75% complete to downloading. now it fell back and is at 20% to completed download. according to co pilot the file size is a little over 3GB. the update for defender is ready. should i try installing KB5058499 via the MS catalog?

good news guys, after logging off and putting pc in sleep mode...after lunch it did successfully install. there was no prompt to restart.. should i do it anyway?

There's no downside to restarting except the two-three minutes you lose, so I'd do it. :-)
