OS
Windows 11
This week I used the Windows update version of a Windows 11 upgrade to go from Windows 10 Home to Windows 11 Home. Under Windows 10 I had a freecell game (standard Windows freecell, that I might have downloaded from a Win7 software site), on which I'd played a considerable number of games.

How do I revive this - be able to play that freecell game, complete with the statistics from WIndows 10? I still have the windows.old folder.

You'll need to download & re-install Windows 7 Games, since the original install placed them in the Windows folder (which is now renamed Windows.old).
Download Windows 7 Games for Windows 11

Free Cell scores are saved in your AppData\Local folder as an XML file. Before you re-install the Games, find this file and make a backup copy (in case it gets overwritten):
C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft Games\FreeCell\FreeCellSettings.xml
