My friend has an HP (Envy?) laptop that Acronis will not recognize the USB SSD attached drive. When trying to clone, this means that it will not work. I pointed him at Macrum Reflect which did a successful clone of his NVME drive. Sounds like a driver issue on both the 2020 and 2021 CD versions working with HP. The Acronis disk works fine on other machines, just this one laptop. I don't expect this to be fixed so I putting this down as solved. Be aware.
