Windows 11 Home --- Version 21H2 Build 22000.194
I believe that to see the action center we click on the three little icons in the right side of taskbar here:

When I do that I get this:

How do I add things to it like airplane mode etc like in action center of windows 10?

There is a lot of things like that, most win 10 stuff is still there but a lot of it is hidden or moved. This forum is great for solving things and more.

I see from the screenshot that you are missing the battery and edit (pencil) icons from the flyout. A lot of people have complained about this. There is another thread that has been started just for the missing 2 icons on the flyout. You can still get at the Edit one by right clicking in an open area of the flyout but the battery one with the percentage is not available that way.
