I'm posting this because I couldn't find anywhere within the Windows 11 forums that could help me. So apologies if this IS addressed here.

To Add/Remove 'Recycle Bin' to/from the desktop context menu, follow the instructions on this Windows 7 forum. It works fine on Windows 10 and 11.

Thanks antspants. There's lots of posts on many forums about adding/removing "Empty Recycle Bin", but I couldn't find a single one about viewing "Recycle Bin" in the context menu. I wanted a quick and easy way to view what was in it first and having both options on the context menu satisfies my need.

Hi.
Now that's a coincidence. I stumbled across something earlier today - can't remember it's name 'cos I've switched back to my Windows 10 system now - and installed it. There were about 30 skins with it and the icon gradually changed the more fuller the bin got. Didn't really get on with it.

I'll certainly check that one out. Thanks.

The benefit of the one I’ve linked you to is that it’s a tiny footprint. Not sure if skins are available but I probably wouldn’t personally use them due to system recourses
