I have a couple of Adobe CS6 programs that I use nearly every day. This is one of the reasons why I have been planning to upgrade my main work computer from an old W10 computer to a new W11 computer during the year end holiday season, i.e. if something goes wrong then I would have a week time to sort things out before I need my work computer. A week should normally be sufficient time, but if Murphy strikes ...
The normal way to transfer a license is to deactivate it in the old (W10) installation and thereafter activate it in the new (W11) installation.
I wonder if there is a grace period available when I could have both activations (on the old W10 computer AND on the new W11 computer) for say, one month. One month is definitely sufficient time to configure the new W11 computer while still being able to work on the old W10 computer.
Any thoughts on grace periods in general and on Adobe CS6 specifically?
