After Reset problems

Maybe it doesn't matter or maybe this has something to do with it, but as I was going thru the list of items from Zbook and antspants I remembered that when the Windows reset (original post) was done and I clicked re start, it took ~ 25 seconds - the screen flashed, went black flashed again and an error message popped up - was so fast I could not read it. The desk top came back but missing items and my computer froze.
All I could think of doing was a Ctrl Alt Del which did nothing - I had to press the power button to get it going again.
I'll keep going on with the list from Zbook.
Last thing, I have 2 drives both original with this 3 YO HP computer, 1 2GB SSD and 1 GB HD. When I noticed the problem (10-21-25) I also was hearing the HDD spinning when before it was basically silent.

Marking this as solved but it's not. After hours of work with no reason for the problem(s) I used Reflect to restore, had to go back to Dec 2023.
It did semi work, cleared up some problems and created more.

I thank the computer Gods for Reflect and also thank those in the forum that tried to help

After much pain and anguish the problem is solved with the help of an IT guy who really knew his stuff.
His take is it was part MS and part HP problem (BIOS/Drive error(s)
