Today’s tech preview is all about helping you get a faster and more fluid AMD Radeon GPU gaming experience, and we couldn’t be more excited for you to be able to try it out and experience it for yourself. With AMD Fluid Motion Frames, seeing is believing.
AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF) is a frame generation technology in HYPR-RX1 that provides a frame-rate boost to DirectX® 11 and 12 games on AMD Radeon™ RX 7000 Series desktop graphics cards2. We are bringing some of the frame generation technology found in AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3) and putting it into AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition™, so that thousands of games can benefit from a more responsive gaming experience. This new Preview Driver can be found on the AMD Drivers and Support page starting today!
AFMF is made possible by ultra-low latency frame interpolation and processing to give you fluid and crisp action whenever you are put in a fast-moving action scene, like when you are trying to time that swing from the swamp monster perfectly.
Please note that this is an early build of AMD Fluid Motion Frames, and the driver is not final. Your Feedback is encouraged and can be submitted through the AMD Bug Report Tool. This feedback is crucial for us and helps us determine how to shape the future of AMD Radeon™ Software. If issues persist, use the AMD Auto-Detect and Install Tool to revert the latest recommended AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition™ driver.
