An app to measure battery drain

Can anyone recommend an app to measure the current draw from a laptop battery? I want to see where my juice is going!

I'm looking for instantaneous or, at least, minute-by-minute readings.

Get a detailed battery report in Windows 11

If you’re interested in getting more technical info about your battery usage and estimated capacity, you can use the Powerfg command-line option that’s built into Windows 11 to generate a battery report.

Select Search on the taskbar, type Command prompt, press and hold (or right-click) Command prompt, and then select Run as administrator > Yes.
At the command prompt, type powercfg /batteryreport, then press Enter.

The battery report will be an HTML file that’s stored in a folder on your PC. The file location will be shown in the Command Prompt window.
Open File Explorer, go to the folder that the report was saved to, and then double-click the battery report (HTML file) to open it in your web browser.
You can get a lot of detailed info about your battery usage and capacity. Some particular sections you might want to look at to get started include the following: Installed battery, Recent usage, and Battery usage.

Otherwise, your laptop manufacturer might have a tool. Dell for example does. It doesn't look like your acer does though. Speccy can also sometimes show battery health and other info like cycle count. Task manager can also show power usage and how high it is for each process.

That does not tell me what I want to know! I want an app, sitting in the tray, with a milliamp reading.

good luck on your search then. If you googled, you would find this page which lists some battery apps. Maybe try some of those?

No, I could, but I want to know if changing some settings adds to my battery life. I do know all the tricks to extend battery life.

I agree with Wisewiz that NirSoft BatteryInfoView does what you need.
I don't use its regular updating setting really [I just notice it updating readings if I leave it open] but it is what you want.

Sorry, but I don't have a working laptop/notebook at present. I have an old (2007) one in a closet, and I pulled it out and got W10 installed on it a while back, but then I stole the two SSDs it had, and now I'd have to restore them and put an OS back in to allow me to test some candidates for/with you.
(Whenever I think of getting a new computer, as I have half a dozen times in the past decade, I ask myself whether I actually need portability, and the answer is always NO, so I wind up getting another desktop. And desktops have the marked advantage of being really easy to work on. I'm in the guts of my PCs half a dozen times a year, replacing this or that, and having a ball doing it.

You could also try 'Pure Battery Analytics' and maybe Battery Percentage also by Pure Battery. From Ms Store. I have no recommendation as no need -sorry but maybe worth a look.

Go to Settings > System > Power & battery, then open the Battery usage tab. A chart shows how much power you have used over the last few days or hours. A list of apps below that shows power usage by individual app.

Then you don't know what you are asking, how can a program measure electricity current.

The electric current in one part of a circuit is measured with an ammeter, which gives a reading in ampere. To take the measurement, a gap is made in the circuit and the ammeter is connected into that gap, so that the charged particles moving around the circuit must pass through the meter.

I'm an engineer, please don't patronise me. Wisewiz pointed to a program that does exactly what I asked for. It shows how much power is flowing in or out of the battery. Have a look at the app and see for yourself. Post #11 refers.

If you are engineer then you should know then you will know current is measurement can be done with multimeter or ammeter you are asking wrong question not me.
