Annoying issue with multiple monitors!

Hey!

I have an issue, with multiple monitors. When I highlight an app thumbnail in the taskbar, other apps in other monitors will minimized and the desktop background image will be shown.

It is very annoying, cause I am watching videos in my other monitor, and I am working with the other monitor, so I always have multiple apps open and I always check the status of my work in the main monitor, when doing so, the video will be minimized in the other monitor.

This issue has been forever, I did report it in the feedback app with full details and attached pictures and recorded a diagnosed report, but my feedback was deleted.

Anyone have this issue, and any way to avoid it?

The action you described is for the taskbar thumbnail live preview..

When you hover the pointer on the taskbar thumbnail preview, you will see a live preview (peek) of only that open window on your desktop.

You can adjust the delay time to show a taskbar thumbnail live preview using the method in the tutorial below. A very high delay time will effectively disable it.

Thanks you so much for the reply, I just tested this and it works, bur it doesn't fix my problem. It will only delay the preview.

I really want to see the preview, as I need to check my work advance, so this configuration will no help me :(

Thanks again, it will be more useful in other scenarios for sure.


Hopefully Microsoft will add other option to prevent minimize other apps while hopping over thumbnails.

Not exactly what I want ,but this helps a lot. thanks, you saved me waiting for a fix. it removed the preview and prevent minimizing apps, but it is hard to check the advance for my work in the small thumbnail.
