Another new Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo.

Because i was not happy with the key markings on the Logitech MK540 i upgraded to the Logitech MK710 wireless keyboard mouse Combo, i paid an extra $35US but it was really worth it. The marking of keys are great and the felt key feed back is very good, there is no small light letting you know keyboard is on but it's not a major issue if you are unable to type it's off. The build quality is really good and it feels very solid with no flexing, it took some looking to find the power switch it's on the right top corner of board under the edge lip. Mouse has a really good feeling in hand and wheel is very smooth moving, mouse does have a power on light both keyboard and mouse come with the batteries installed.

Theres a thread where we like to brag to each other about latest purchases.

You’d be doing well to own as many Logitech products as Edwin. I’d like to see a bit of competition. I win for having the oldest Logitech Keyboard/Mouse setup. Maybe?

I am just trying to explain the problems i have had trying to get a new keyboard mouse combo, first the lightspeed one was a really bad one causing many problems, the next one had poor marking on it's keys then again i exchanged it for the MK710 and it seems to have solved my needs for a keyboard mouse combo.

Anyway all has ended well, when Windows 10 arrived years ago i joined this Windows forum, received many helping replies to my many problems., soon there was nothing to ask for help about and i soon just left the forum.

Now with Windows 11 i thought it would be a good idea to return to the Windows forum, today i am thinking maybe it has been a real mistake.

No you don't I have a 1998 Logitech Wireless Keyboard, and mouse Logitech's very wireless keyboard and mouse. It is in storage and still works, no wifi, no bluetooth, it has it own PS2 connected radio. I have not had a PS2 port on a PC in years. It was called Logitech Cordless Desktop.

Ha! Awesome. I’d hate to unpack my storage boxes. I think I still have 2kb memory & 8 inch floppy drives

I have a couple of floppy drives and several boxes of 144 meg floppy disk, I don't know why I still have them. I have the 90 pound motor out of an IBM Model 350 Disk File the very first hard drive. This drive had 50 24-inch disks and had about 4 megabytes of storage capacity, The motor looks like a big diesel engine starting motor. Not really sure why I saved it.

I have seven old Logitech K520 combo keyboards and mouses. Logitech MK520 Wireless Keyboard Mouse Combo with Unifying
They all still work but are old (long) in the tooth, since i bought a new up to date computer i thought get a new keyboard and mouse.

Lots have changed over the past10+ years with computers their operating systems the hardware now used the programs being run, some are a great improvement many others not so great.

Just like the many help forums, some very good others not good at all.

I have boxs of old computer stuff some i have given away to a small family computer shop in my city, many other items i just put in the trash, whats left i also don't know why i am keeping it.

But you have to admit, mine are the sexiest? I mean look at the chrome, lights and slim lines. I’d take them out for dinner but I’m already being watched as it is.

Was lucky to sell my old Blad 500 and a few of there lens to a great loss on the sales, today you could not give it away.

Never throw a camera away. They bring great interest to collectors. Mechanical more so than digital, but still…
