No i have them all in their original boxs stored in a closet, i still use the Canon G16 for many pictures i post in other forums that allow large files, but i now also use my iPhone for many pictures.

That’s another storing problem I have, I keep every original box.

Strange as it seems i am reading film cameras are making a come back, now that sends a shiver up my back having to deal with film again not in whats left in my life will i ever again buy a roll of Kodak color film and load it in my old Canon F.

On another subject my old ASSUS computer has a 17 inch screen my new computer a 16 inch screen, you might not think one inch would make such a difference in being able to see your typing but it sure does.

To all that Horde electronic components:
Why not donate to a Museum near you. I'm sure they would appreciate the gestures.
Google is great but, nothing like having the real thing in front of you and showing how
science has evolved over the last three or four decades.
There's nothing like seeing the kids laugh at what we had.

There is nothing better. I built my first dark room for black and white film when I was 11 years old. My father gave me a ventilated room downstairs that I could paint black. The only problem with it now is, it is very expensive.

I’ve never ever put electronic equip in a rubbish bin. There is always a home or place for it, somewhere. In fact even at some of our local rubbish drop off plants, there are dedicated spots for computer equip.

But, you know where those land right?
They end up in the hands of the recyclers where they scavenge the gold, silver and
platinum. I do this once in a while as well but, I'd rather see it used by people who
will appreciate the value of having an intact piece of hardware for others to view
and contemplate at how far we have come from the birth of all this beautiful science.

Yeah, i’ve never dumped anything electrical. Even old kettles let alone computer parts, I’ll fix a kettle and donate it before dumping it. There are still ”Geek Markets” here. You can swap, sell or donate computer parts.

If you want to scarf on to antique software visit your state surplus store, it is has one, The last time I was in Wyoming's I spotted several unopened boxes with MSDOS 3.2. Now you might find unopened Windows 94 boxes.
