That works well for the browser but it is browser specific. If you were to say attempt to make an online purchase this may not be adequate. I recall having to jump through 4 hoops for authentication on one account 1) E mail, 2) Voice mail 3) Graphical (count the cross walks) 4) password. This is insane. Personally, I don't use password savers. When I open my email I have to type in my pw every time and that is a personal choice that I don't mind employing. Changing my pass word and noting it in my little black book every now and then is also a thing I do BUT often, for some reason, every now and then, some stupid server fails to remember that I changed my password. I date the day I change it too, so I know I'm not the one who's "losing it" here. This is enough cause for me to never, never, never use a password saver. GOOGLE has screwed me over more times than I care to recall this way and GOOGLE doesn't do voice mail anymore. They expect everyone to have a cell phone. To be fair my entertainment centre uses a pass key and I've never had an issue with it. Gotta give Microsoft credit when they do something right. I let the girls use it. That old Acer PC could explode and I wouldn't lose much. I put it together with recycled parts and did a factory reset on the hard drive. Only Microsoft knows who it used to belong to. loli use a password and an authenticator in my browser
so my MS account is 2FA
if that is not enough for MS then i will just delete and shut the account down.
best of luck Steve ..
I like this but . . . Considering the 100s of BILLIONS of dollars spent on AI it isn't likely just a trend. Foolish, yes. Trend? I can only wish.To be honest, I see it all as nothing more than a foolish trend..., much like AI is.

- Gave Dell touch screen with Windows 11 to daughter and got me an OTVOC. Being a PC builder I own many desktop PCs as well. I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.
