Any Advice for a First Time Laptop Opener/Hardware install on a Laptop--Just an 2nd M.2

Hello All

Wanting to finally install my spare M.2 NVMe SSD into PC 2 whenever i get a real life peaceful time to do it, system is Asus TUF A16 (FA617NT-A16.R7700) is there anything i need to be worried about, cautious on, or such.

I've done plenty of Desktop Installs, but never done a laptop period in my life

Have good lighting and be gentle.

Yeah i'll make sure light is on, and gonna watch that video asap here, and i will be really gentle, and i got ifixit opener kit. and got screw driver that fits the screws as well--(tested that part already lol)

So soon i think i should be able to get it done hopefully all perfectly fine

No. Have a really good light. Like an LED desk lamp or similar.
It makes a huge difference. ^^
A light so bright you can see molecules.

Also, have a few small containers you can put screws and the like... into.

Yeah i got the small container for the screws already

I think i got pretty much all i need, except the LED Desk lamp, might have to get that first lol, all i got is the main lamp in the room, and second lamp that barely puts out any light

Drive i plan to install is Samsung 990 Evo Plus 1TB ((should be enough for the few games i wanna off-load from Desktop, and run on PC 2) Firestorm viewer for SecondLife, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, Police Officer Simulator: Patrol, and maybe one other if enough space lol.

Then i can switch off which Machine i use if i wanna lol

right now i spend most of my time on Desktop and Laptop for a few hours every other day, but i'll get more use out of it as time goes on

Asus Download Center > select TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition (2023) or, alternatively, manually enter/automatically detect serial number > Manual & Document > Service Guide and Maintenance > grab "FA617XS_XT_NS_NT_NSR_NTR_Customer self repair guide" and "FA617N Service Manual for English Edition"

Ok Will Check those manuals out asap here, and possibly print them so i have a hard copy so i can read it closely, and maybe have it nearby when i ready to attempt opening it for the first time.

I think i got enough HP Instant Ink Pages and Rollover to cover printing it hopefully, will see lol when i get the manual pdf's shortly here

Why print it? Download it to a Folder and then you can read it directly from the PC when and if you need to.

Oh Yes i can do that as well and save a Copy on Desktop as well or one of the External drives
