I have looked all over. Wanting to increase the size of text in the reading pane on Windows Mail app. Yes you can CTRL ++ or scroll forward, but thats a pain to have to do all the time, plus, the words in the text go off screen.

I have found no way to change font size in just the mail app, except for when composing. You can use CTRL and + shortcut to zoom inside the reading pane, but you have to do it for each email as the zoom level is not remembered.
Not the most ideal solution, but you can increase font size in Windows 11 globally which will also increase the font size in Windows 10 Mail app.

IMO MS dropped the ball when it came to designing the mail app.

If your talking of mail received, you will need to ask the sender to increase there font size.

Yes, mail recieved. Mail from sender shows fine, about a size 11 or 12 font in Thunderbird, same sender, about a size 10 or smaller in Windows Mail app, so definetly Windows Mail app not displaying right. No adjustment to make the font larger. Cant beleve Windows Mail would leave this popular setting out.

If you open the settings gear wheel, select the 'Default Font' then set it how you want it.
