I went there and got Aiarty Image Matting. <------ removes even the most complicated background, perfectly.
The lifetime license key didn't work. :(

May have been my fault.
Bitdefender firewall blocked Aiarty Image Matting.exe

I made a rule and allowed it. Key still didn't work.
I'm guessing that maybe when the firewall blocked it at first, it invalidated the key??

Just checked these out, for the premium tools, these are a one year only licence but need to be activated before 2026.

Pretty certain based on previous offers, you will need to buy a licence after one year (although maybe offer will be repeated next year).

If you download any item (zip file), you can see the licence terms (most are 1 year only but not all).

I've seen these AOMEI giveaways before, as most have.

Downloaded the backup zip file here, and as usual the activation key provided only lasts 1 year. I haven't bothered with any of the other applications as it is expected they will last only a year before purchase is necessary.

This is all ok if someone wants to start using an application and save the funds for purchase over the "free" year. Unless this is one's plan, using a "free" gift for one year makes a non-useable mess after that year. AOMEI Black Friday offers were quite sharp. Backup PRO for lifetime use, including updates, on 5 "family" PC's for US$70 was quite reasonable in my view, but for myself, not required.

All these things are a bit like 3rd party Anti-Virus software -- solving a C20 issue for C21 situations on domestic computers.

If for example you store your OS on vhdx physical files and only have the OS and application programs such as Office, Photoshop etc on it and store things like multi-media files etc elsewhere then just copying the whole vhdx file with just bog standard file explorer especially if you have Nvme type devices on lt takes a few minutes even on relatively modest hardware and even a bare metal restore is easy enough by simply using a Windows install bootable usb and via command mode just copy the old vhdx to the disk.

If you've got "really important data" and you have an office subscription - just store the stuff in the cloud with the cloud space included with Office/365 or offline. You won't have TB of that type of stuff.

For things like music / multi-media / ripped CD's etc - these change rarely so you probably only need to recover accidentally deleted files and backup new files. Easily done with standard Windows commands or Linux grsync (even from within a VM).

On a domestic computer (not a corporate / work machine) why on earth would I buy $1200's worth of any sort of AOEMI stuff (their figures not mine - giveaway worth 1000's of dollars)-- on Amazon currently you can get a gen 11 i7 8 core HP laptop with 32 GB RAM and 512GB NVME disk storage for around $500 !!! so by NOT buying AOEMI I could get TWO decent laptops !!!!!!.

For partition management ANY Windows user would have absolutely NO problem in using the stand alone bootable Gparted (free software) its interface is typical to the usual partition managers -- a lot more flexible and has all sorts of data recovery options only found in the "Pro" (i.e pay for features) versions of the windows products.

So I'd really sit down and think what you really need to do these days regarding system backup, data backup and just bog standard archiving (i.e data like ripped cd's / DVD's / photos etc that doesn't change and only needs to be backed up once and stored).

Cheers

It´s your money and choice of course - if you have no issues with this then that's absolutely OK -- I was just posting IMHO there are better options for using that money !!!! -- Each to their own of course. !!
