Apologies if this has been asked and answered, but I cannot think of a good way to search. An app I run somewhat frequently does not show up when I search the start menu. I would like it to. I don't want to PIN it to the menu, I don't want to see it every time I hit the ole windows key, but I would like it to appear when I search so I don't have to navigate to the folder every time to launch it. . . what can I do to fix this exceedingly minor annoyance?

I must have done something wrong trying this. I loaded the indexing control panel, and added the exe's path. Didn't find it. Went to the advanced options, rebuilt the index, nothing. Restarted the windows search service, still nothing. . . what may I have missed?

I prefer to have a clean desktop and start menu, I don't like having visible shortcuts unless I'm specifically searching.
