Hi, how can i make it so that the player on Apple Music shows the timer always like previously in iTunes? not just when you have the mouse hovered over it.

This is what the player is like when you have a song playing and the mouse isn't hover over the player

This is what the player is like with the mouse hovered over it.

but i want it to look like this the whole time when playing a song, even if my mouse isn't hovered on it.

Hi @dacrone would you be able to test this out :) and see if its possible. This was the default behavior in iTunes the timer would always show when playing a song

I’m not wanting to use mini player or mini player full screen, Just the regular app with timer showing always at top of screen, when song is playing

I realize that.

I'm just saying that it's apparently built into the user interface, not a setting. So if you don't want to use the mini player, either keep the mouse cursor over it or hope that dacrone offers to rebuild Apples Music App.

Maybe something in registry editor could fix this, so the timer is showing always like it used to do in iTunes when playing a song

all i can do is snap the mouse there (or toggle snap/unlock position with a hotkey). unless i can figure out how to create a ghost cursor that doesn't tie up the mouse, i dont think its possible...

why use this app instead of itunes?

@dacrone I want to try use the new app, since iTunes is seriously outdated, if you could figure out how to create a ghost cursor that won’t tie up the mouse that would be great. But no pressure at all, I know that will be very hard

not yet. i havent played with it in the past few days but i have yet to be able to get the ghost cursor to hover at that location. it keeps pulling the visible cursor from its spot. i'll keep testing when i can think of an alternative. may be a bit longer, unless anyone else has any suggestions
