The other day @hsehestedt solved a laptop connectivity issue for me. Not the first time that I have solved Windows problems. Mostly its reading forum posts for other people, or reading the excellent tutorials. This time I was the OP.
There are too many Windows forums to count on both hands, and I occasionally go to one of them as a result of a search. But this forum stands above the rest.
I like to think of myself as pretty knowledgeable about PCs and Windows. I build all my own desktops and I have no problem doing fresh Windows installs. But the collective knowledge of the forum members is simply awesome.
