The application mentioned in the title has not been working properly since the very beginning. Everything works as it should, but Asus HAL Central won't install. I contacted Asus, but they haven't responded. I've tried everything and nothing has fixed the problem. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

The only solution is to delete the app and reinstall it. That's what I did and so far everything is fine.

Amoury Crate is designed to be used only on ASUS computers and ASUS hardware/peripherals.

My beef with it is the last time it was on my PC (have an ASUS mainboard) it tried to update stuff willy-nilly and is far too intrusive and is buggy.

The MyAsus utility app is much better, it doesn't install any updates to firmware and drivers WITHOUT the user's permission.

I have ROG Gaming Center on a laptop, which is the predecessor to Armoury Crate. It stopped working after an update a while ago, but after a lot of messing around, I managed to get it working again. The only reason I keep it installed is because the keyboard has a ROG Gaming Center button that would be redundant without it.

BTW, I have found that I can install Armoury Crate on all my laptops and desktops. Having ASUS hardware is not required. However, it only shows ASUS devices it supports. The problem is not all ASUS devices are supported by it. Especially devices made before 2018.

I'm using G-Helper on my ASUS laptop, instead of Armoury Crate. Much smaller footprint & does everything that Armoury Crate does - except desktop screens. I use Lively for that.

I have been using Armoury Crate on my Asus TUF Gaming F16 (2024) FX607JV for a year and almost three months now. Never had any issues with it. It doesn't install any updates unless I tell it to. Also, it leverages some (Asus) hardware-specific features that would otherwise remain inaccessible. Here is an example:
