at the lock screen...can PIN code be work-arounded to just a single hit on the ENTER key

my computer is in a safe single user environment.....looking for a convenience workaround....at lockscreen can the PIN code be entered by any routine that could be triggered by a single click on, say, the ENTER key or maybe the spacebar key

Why not disable logging in altogether?

i appreciate your reply...thanks...i didn't know it could be disabled....the 2 or 3 days i spent looking into the 'problem' seemed to suggest that if you disabled the PIN code then the OS would require a different entry such as a password or a biometric or a puzzle of some kind and there was just no getting around some kind of identifier to get back into the system

so i'll definitely follow up the suggestion in your post

Once you enter the correct code, you do not even have to press enter. 0000 will do and it will increase the security.
