lk heb een nieuwe laptop. Ik heb de harde schijf van de oude laptop gekloond naar een externe harde schijf. Vervolgens van die schijf weer gekloond naar nieuwe machine. Alles werkt goed al mijn programma's werken als vanouds. Echter bij opstarten krijg ik de melding dat Windows back-up niet werkt op een externe harde schijf.
Het lijkt erop dat Windows denkt dat de harde schijf een externe harde schijf is. Is dat een instelling ergens? Weet iemand hier iets over

How did you clone the hard drive -- did you use "windows backup ", macrium, other backup software, some type of partitioner, or even linux DD command.
Depending on the answer various solutions are possible. I assume also you are running Windows 10 or Windows 11.

(Seems that the Google translation A.I is pretty good these days -- I wish that stuff was around when I was back in School !!!).

I have to do windows backup as it refuses to let me install macrium. It keeps telling me 'some files were not backed up'
