Backup/restore from certain countries

I was reading about Jack Ma and thought I would post my thoughts about certain programs.
These programs like Easeus and Aomei are easy to use and free but are they secure?
If Jack Ma cannot be safe how can we in the USA.
I read that some programs dial back to their home country, for example.
I hope some peeople take care when choosing an imaging company.
There are programs that are free but alledgedly safe. Nothing is 100%.
One example iis Clonzilla but I use its cousin as it is easier and has not failed me.

Not even trusted software is guaranteed to be safe. Just do an internet search on 3rd party vendor compromises. Having layered security on your computer and network can help mitigate or reduce risks.

I agree, if you don't get compromised at some point consider yourself lucky. So, backup, backup, backup esspecially ability for bare metal..
