Better Browser - Security, Incognito, and General Use

Greetings all,

I've been a Chrome user for a very long time but now that there are several other half-decent Chromium browsers and other ones like Mozilla, Brave, etc., maybe it's time that I look at a different browser.

My needs are simple - good extension support (Ad blocker, dark mode for non-supporting websites as a start -- if it's even needed on other browsers) and use of my chosen Password Manager (Bitwarden) are priorities. Also, I'd like to keep my internet profile down as much as possible - I don't go to shady sites, but I feel that some element of privacy is important. Speed and compatibility with newer web technologies are priorities, but not major ones.

So, what are the recommendations of Forum users? We have a lot of knowledgeable and highly experienced people here so I'd like to hear what you people think.

I primarily use Firefox, but if you want to stay chromium based Brave is a good choice with extra security and ad blocking built-in

Firefox mostly. Edge occasionally.

I use Chrome and Chromium variants mainly for features, namely:
• Chrome
• Cent Browser
• Catsxp Browser

I don't subscribe to all the privacy hype.

I also use Firefox, but every other day I am on the net, “Brave” keeps getting mentioned in a positive way. My wife recently asked about using it. I am yet to install it for her.

I used Slimjet Browser in Linux, it is a Chromium fork. It does not have all of the tracking that Chromium or Chrome have. It can be found here:
