I installed Windows 11 to be able to use bitlocker. It works perfectly on rather small USB sticks. But I tried it on a 2 tera external memory; it took a long time to prepare the encryption of the memory and when it finished, I passed a lot of information to it. But now when I try to use it, I enter the encryption key, it accepts it but the contents are not visible. It says that the volume does not contain recognizable files. And asks if you want to format it.
