Hi, All.
I thought it would be a straight forward process, but something isn't working.

I'm trying to bridge my ethernet and wi-fi card. I can do that successfully, but the wi-fi card show as connected but with No Internet (Not Connected). I have changed the TCP/IP6 metric priority to set the wi-fi priority over the ethernet priority, but that did nothing.

Any thoughts?

A simple Google showed me this:

Code:
Procedure
1. Download and install the latest drivers for your Ethernet adapter directly from the manufacturer's web site.

2. Open Settings, click on Network & Internet and select Change adapter options. Remove any current bridged connections

3. Create a new bridge by first selecting the WiFi adapter and then the Ethernet adapter. Finally right-click on the WiFi adapter (while both are selected) and select Bridge Connection.

This should work just fine.

I did those steps. I get an error when attempting to create the bridge.

I did. The bridge is only pulling from the wi-fi card. I assume that the error that tells me nothing in words is implying that it didn't bridge in with the ethernet card.

This should work just fine.

Turns out I had to have everything on the metric priority on automatic. Once I switched that back, this work. Thanks!

Updated at the bottom for more further problems if they arise.
I know the answer so here it is.
Turn on both devices
Connect to WiFi on your computer
Connect the ethernet cable to both devices
Click your WiFi icon on your computer
Click Network & Internet settings
Click Change adapter options
Hold the ctrl key then click Ethernet and WiFi release the ctrl key right click then click Bridge Connections
Close the Network Connections window
On the Network & Internet settings window that should be up click Network and Sharing Center
Click Change advanced sharing settings
Click Turn on network discovery
Make sure the box under it is checked that releases the dns data for your connection
Click the back button
Click Media streaming options
Click all Media sharing
This screen gives you access to the devices connected on your network
Have fun my friends.....
If you have problems still that means your window defender firewall is not allowing connection you will have to go to Allowed apps in your firewall settings and allow some features mostly the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Services , Network Discovery , Media Center Extenders , and File and Printer Sharing
