Broken keys after Change Windows Shortcuts

Hey.

Today I had the ..... inspiration to change one windows shortcut that i use ,
to an easier one. The shortcut Win+; , has a distance of 9 keys at keyboard and requires 2 hands or ...1 big.
After a search i found that powertoys app can do that.
I downloaded , i change it , and it works. But it works only if the powertoys running. I you closed you go to default shortcut.

Next , i look for another app. I found the "SharpKeys". I downloaded and i tested it. Negative , Any change dont work.
In addition it broke powertoys's new ,worked, shortcut.

I uninstalled "SharpKeys" , reboot. Powertoys still broken.
I uninstalled powertoys , reboot. I reinstalled powertoys , create the new shortcut , and it works.
But now i have destroyed at least one key (or keys) for now : ? key not shows ? or /. In all cases shows only - !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right now i can input / and ? only with ........ touch keyboard.

So now :
1) I have to fix the keyboard.
2) It will be good to restore the default sortcuts-keyboard-hotkeys , as i can tested at once.
3) I have to find another way to change the default shortcut , without programs run at background or create problems.
Any thoughts ?

(ps: i you think to use both of 2 programs , think it very good , and create restore points and image backups).

First and foremost, maybe try reinstalling Sharp Keys and seeing if there is a reset to default option in there, to revert your attempts to customize the shortcuts in Sharp Keys.

As for Power Toys - I use it and have it running all the time, but because it has soooooo many utilities that I use:

• Awake
• Powertoys Run
• Quick Accent
• Shortcut guide
• Image Resizer
• Registry Preview
• Screen Ruler

I have to have Awake - my monitors, unfortunately, have a nasty habit of going into sleep mode if the computer is unattended for a good period of time, and once they do, it sometimes is impossible to wake them back up - so I instead have awake running to prevent Windows from accidentally trying to put the monitors to sleep mode, and manually power off the monitors.

Quick accent is a godsend - so much easier to put not just things like letters with diacritical marks, but also direct access to superscript numbers, etc, without having to open charmap.

Registry Preview is a godsend for importing any of a number of reg entries from here for customization purposes, without having it automatically apply and me not knowing what is going on.

The rest are there if I need them - and this is a pared down list, I used to have a lot more of the powertoys always on as well.

After 12 hours with trying solutions , nothing works. After the crash of keys the key ?/ and numpad's - was the same key.
I did online keyboard tests and reinstall powertoys and both shows they are the "same" key.
Finally , i restore from image back , i lost 20 days of work but now i can type ? and /.
Powertoys never again for me.

I wonder if they messed up Scancode Map in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout?

Whatever the case, Autohotkey is the way.

The issue likely stemmed from something in the second app you tried, not powertoys.
