Hi,

I had just bought a new laptop and turned it on for the first time last night. It showed that it needed to update somethings so i just went with it and it restarted into a firmware update. Problem is the update was incomplete and now I cannot boot into windows at all and keep saying cannot access or find device.

I've tried several things including bootrec, chkdsk, bcdboot but to no avail. I'm left with just reinstalling win11 but i'd like to know if there's anything else i can try.

As it is a brand new laptop and was the first time you turned it on I would suggest you check if the manufacturer has a way you can simply restore it to its factory state. Often there is a recovery method provided for this situation.
