BSOD error when playing any game using integrated graphics or Nvidia GPU

I am having a strange issue where I am getting a BSOD when playing ANY game and it does not matter if I am playing the game using the integrated AMD graphics from the processor or the Nvidia GeForce 3060 (Laptop). I even tried playing Titan Quest Anniversary Edition today, this laptop should play that game like butter as it is a much older game and with all graphics turned to low a potato should run it fine. Here is the error I am getting:

I have put all my system specs on my bio, here is the Windows 11 build number:

I checked and I have no window updates at al.

I have tried the following:
SFC /scannow
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Windows Update
Full system antivirus and malware checks by a few different providers
Made sure graphics drivers are up to date, this has happened on the last 3 versions of GeForce drivers

So I have spent over a dozen hours on this and am at a complete loss, I could understand if it was doing this on one or the other graphics source....but both just boggles my mind. I hope this is enough information and I hope you all can help me come to some conclusion on what might help the issue.

The BSOD caused by nvlddmkm.sys driver which belongs to GPU driver.

Where are you downloading GPU driver from?

Had to further look up your system. 5800H AMD processor. I will admit I am not experienced with AMD processor graphics AND a dedicated Nvidia GPU. To be clear the processor graphics requires it's own dedicated video drivers. Not sure exactly where to start here but if it was me.......

I'd do a clean DDU and remove all the old graphics drivers...both Nvidia and AMD. Allowing you to start fresh.

Also....I think I'd check and ensure you've got the latest AMD Chipset drivers installed. Not the ones from Asus but the ones from AMD. AMD will always have the most recent drivers for your hardware. You can get the latest Chipset drivers as well as the latest AMD processor w/graphics drivers. You have to pay attention to be sure to download the correct drivers here. Once a system get's past a certain age Asus will no longer keep the latest drivers on their support pages.

Start here using all AMD drivers and see if you can get all that working first. Then move to the 3060 drivers.

Go to Nvidia directly to download the latest Nvidia drivers for your specific mobile 3060.

I actually did this right after I posted this. I had used DDU years ago but forgot about it until a friend linked to it this morning on Discord. I went to safe mode and removed both AMD and Nvidia drivers completely. I always download Nvidia from the official website and I let Windows install the AMD stuff. To be honest so far things are running REALLY smooth, nothing jittery or slow like it had been before things crashed. I also ran the DirectX installer manually and it did some stuff so something there was missing or needed fixed. I also as a finisher cleaned every bit of all temp files and junk crap off the whole system using Trend Micro programs to do so.

I am really hoping that this all together or parts of it fixed the issue. All I can do is play and see if it crashes again. I will come back on Thursday and update if the issue is still happening or if it seems fixed.

In all five dumps the Nvidia driver was active, we see nvlddmkm.sys clearly in each call stack leading up to the BSOD. Since it's a laptop it's not going to be possible to remove the RTX3060, so each time you 'only used the iGPU' it's almost certain that the nvlddmkm.sys driver was still loaded and thus still causing problems.

I would suggest you try using only the iGPU again, but this time go into Device Manager and disable the RTX3060 and then reboot (that should stop the nvlddmkm.sys driver from being loaded). See whether it BSODs in that configuration.

I am still having BSOD issues so when I get on later this will be the first thing I try. I am getting really upset at this point when I try playing Core Keeper, a 24 bit low graphics game, and still get the BSOD.

If doing this resolves the problem does that mean my Nvidia card is the issue?

Delete the nvidia telemetery. This fixed issues on my side.

The logs had reported different problems with each GPU.

1) Please post a new V2 share link into the newest post

2) Then use DDU > test the drivers displayed on the Asus website

If there are recurrent BSOD related to Nvidia GPU hardware / drivers then
a) try different driver versions
b) contact Asus
c) a work around may be the AMD iGPU if there are no recurrent hangs / freezes

If there are recurrent hangs / freezes related to AMD GPU hardware / drivers then
a) try different driver versions
b) contact Asus
c) a work around may be the Nvidia dGPU if there are no recurrent BSOD

I disabled the Nvidia dGPU this morning and have played almost 8 hours now on the AMD iGPU with zero issues. Everything has run smooth as butter, much better than I would have expected even. I have been playing Path of Exile almost the entire time and it has been glitch free, I honestly thought the game would be too much for the iGPU.

So it would seem that the Nvidia iGPU is the issue. I have spent a ton of time working with Nvidia drivers and troubleshooting anything and everything that it can be, and you all have been VERY helpful. I can not say how grateful that I am. Out of all of this it would seem that the Nvidia card is just failing, and has been for quite some time. Today was the best gameplay I have had overall in over a year.

I will just have to run with the AMD iGPU, I am sure there are some games I have that wont run on it but I have a lot of games I can pick from. I am currently homeless, waiting to get on Social Security Disability and sure as hell cant afford a new computer. I also can not contact AMD, I have had this computer almost 4 years and it only had a 1 year warranty.

Firstly, download the latest Nvidia driver for your exact model of laptop from the Asus driver download website. Graphics drivers on laptops are often customised (for operational and power-saving reasons) and the generic Nvidia drivers might not function properly. Then download DDU and use that to fully uninstall the current Nvidia graphics driver (the system will reboot). Finally, install the Asus downloaded driver, see whether that helps.

If that doesn't help than install the AMD graphics driver for your exact laptop model, from the same Asus driver download website.

If the above doesn't help, then make sure that you have all the latest chipset drivers from the Asus website for your specific model of laptop.

If none of the above helps then it probably is a failing Nvidia GPU. Do you regularly clean the insides of the laptop? The finned heat exchanger(s) next to the fan(s) is where ALL the cooling is done. You need a good airflow through this/these heat exchanger(s), but they are dust and fluff magnets and are easily blocked, leading to overheating and component destruction.
