Trying to fix my friend's new computer (1-2 months old).

specs:
i7-13700K (no OC) cooled with AIO
2x16GB DDR4-3600 gskill TridentZ RGB (F4-3600C18D-32GTZR)
MSI Gaming X Trio GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6X
MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4
2 x Samsung SSD 980 PRO 1TB

I managed to fix the very frequent game crashes (0-5 minutes into Battlefield 2042) by reinstalling the GPU drivers (with a driver removal tool) on the 5th of January (so ignore any crashes before then). These crashes usually just crashed to the desktop with a driver error.

Now it's BSODing (and sometimes shutting down without a BSOD) after a few hours of playing BF2042. It's not particularly consistent in how long it takes though.

What I've tried:
-removed Norton, no change
-disabled XMP, no change
-Memcheck86 with XMP enabled. Ran without any errors (see screenshots in the attached files).

The V2 Log collector files have been repacked with 7-zip on high-compression because they were too large to upload otherwise.

Windows Build/Version
Windows 11 Home 64-bit Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621

A shut down with no error (auto power off) means the CPU cores are too hot. (100C!)

But, random shutdowns and errors the same day, are common if manually overclocking the CPU cores and the CPU core temps are too high. Also common to need much lower core temps for an extreme custom core OC!

Nothing is overclocked (except for XMP on the ram, I suppose, but the crashes happen even without that.)

Symptoms don't look like the RAM. (not unless it was "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT")
