Can Win-7 be installed on a "monstrous"Win-11 Machine ?

When you find one, if you will let me know before you buy, I will pull up its specifications, driver list, and compatible discrete GPU list to check in more detail for you.
Hey glasskuter
no need to apologize, you are gracious enough to help out with your precious time.

I would like to take up on your above offer.

I do have Brand new Dell Precision 5820 Workstation which I bought 3 years ago & it is collecting dirt because it has Windows-11 which I hate & I hate it's tiny fonts so I never used it.

So kindly do your best to pull up its specifications, driver list, and compatible discrete GPU list to check in more detail for me.

Specs for that Dell Precision 5820 workstation are :
Dell Precision 5820 Tower 950W PCIe FlexBay Chassis
Intel Xeon Processor W-2235 6C 3.8GHz
16GB 2x8GB DDR4 2933MHz RDIMM ECC Memory
Dual Nvidia T1000, 4GB GPUs
2 x M.2 512GB PCIe NVMe Class 40 Solid State Drive in Front Flex Bay
One of these 2 NVMe has Win-11 Pro
& other one is blank & I also have 3rd Blank 512GB NVMe
2 x 3.5" 4TB 7200rpm SATA AG-Enterprise Hard Drive in Front Flex Bay
and one more in DVD bay. So 3 x 4TB HDDs in total
Intel Integrated controller (RST-e) with 1-2 Front FlexBay NVMe PCIe Drives

System is under warranty till end of September 2025 i.e. 3 more months in this Year.

Dell guy came & installed the system in September 2022 to make sure it runs ok & it did with Win-11. Thus it is a Fully functional Brand New Workstation with Win-11 as of now.

I will use above 2 NVIDIA T1000 GPUs to run 8 Monitors instead of 12 now.

I also have Win-7 ( Ultimate ) iso with SP1 that I downloaded from MS site in 2012. ( I have already put it on a pen drive )

I also have it on a 500gb SSD with all the updates.

So kindly do your best to convert this Win-11, Dell 5820 Workstation into a Windows-7 Workstation.

Many Thanks to everyone helping me with your professional skills & precious time. I am very grateful.

Dell Drivers here
drivers from Dell.webp

Regarding a driver for the Nvidea T1000. I believe that device uses the Quadro driver. There are several windows 7 video drivers on the Dell site but all of them include the P1000, not the T1000. However, even though those 2 cards use entirely different architecture, IF the information AI gave me is correct the P1000 and the T1000 use the same driver. I would definitely try to use them before I bought something else because they are high end cards. I tried to geta driver from Nvidia but they no longer have any windows 7 drivers there.
Here's the driver I would attempt to use. To find the driver on Dell site:
To find video driver.webp

Then use this driver.

Here's a list from Dell for compatible GPU for that device.

That's great but do you have a license for it. Or do you plan on running it unlicensed?

Do you intend to use all these drives. If so for what purpose? Just storage, RAID?
If it is your intent to use all of them do you plan on partitioning each of them into multiple partitions or single partition?

I would remove the drive that has windows 11 on it and replace it with the other unused NVME. Put it aside. That way you can go back to 11 if you choose to.

Do you intend to install Windows 7 yourself now or are you still intending to let the repair shop do it? I ask, because there will be a few changes you will have to make in your bios before 7 can be installed. There are so many variables to consider here.

Regarding the nVidia graphics cards, searching for drivers results in the same official driver I posted the link for.

Many Thanks glasskuter & spapacons for all the suggestion & help.
I bought 5820 with all those drives having one partition & extra ones for backups.
After giving a lot of thoughts to what you guys said on all the replies, I think it would be foolish to do it on my own or buy it from a reseller with false hope & you probably are right about him just installing Win-7 & leave me hanging with 1,000,000,000 butterflies.
I wish there was a Dell workstation that would easily run 3 GPUs with Win-7 just like the one I am running which is Dell T-7500.
It also doesn't make sense to take apart & ruin a perfect Brand New 5820.
GPU NVIDIA P620 is a great choice for running Win-7 after doing lot of research but 3 of them also cost a lot.
I am going thru all old Dell versions that you gave me the Wikipedia link for.
I will let you know if I find one.

By the way which drivers specifically I should ask reseller he has or where he got them from to run Win-7 on the Hi Fi 7820 M/C ?

Again really appreciate all the help from everyone on this forum " The best I ever came across "
