A new, ugly icon appeared on my desktop just beneath the Recycle Bin. (My fans will note that I have finally managed to somewhat declutter my desktop.)
Double right-clicking that icon brings up some beautiful images, courtesy of Microsoft Edge.
Left-clicking on it generates this screen.
Neither of those actions affords a way to delete the icon, and dragging it to the Recycle Bin fails. No doubt this is simply an oversight by the behemoth Microsoft . How might I gently correct MS's oversight and rid myself of the bothersome icon?
