can't login gmail on firefox....it has been hijacked by gemini?

so I open my Firefox gmail bookmark link and cannot access gmail. nothing but junk about gemini AI and how I have to create a new account. (see attached pic)

endless circles of clicking do not lead to a login page for my existing gmail accounts. did manage to finally get it to work (doom clicking) but when I logged out and back in same non functioning thing.

So I tried using chrome and browser and it still works fine so far.

what's going on?

On my Firefox there is a sign-in button between 'For work" and "Create an account".

You can just go straight to https://accounts.google.com, login and the select mail from the waffle icon

I am guessing you have either blocked the sign in or an addon is causing issues.
Test with a different browser.

Have you tried clicking on the small X to the right of the Gemini icon to see if that will close the prompt to sign in so you can go to your standarrd email?

I use Gmail in Chrome, which also has the Gemini feature. However, I don't see that feature to be very useful, so I have it disabled. I just go to "Settings -> See All Settings -> General" and turn off "Smart Features". Firefox should have a similar setting to turn all the Gemini stuff off.
