I use EasyBCD to make my dual boot changes. They have a free version.
Do you have a boot menu (after post) to chose which OS/partition you want to boot from?

If you are using mbr partition style :

You would need to mark one of the partitions on the disk containing C active . Easiest to mark C partition active. That can be done in disk management.
Or it can be done from an administrator cmd prompt type:
diskpart
(then press enter)
sel vol c
(then press enter)
act
(then press enter)
exi
(then press enter)

Then you create the boot files on C using this command. From an administrator cmd prompt type:
bcdboot c:\windows /s c:
(then press enter)

Now that disk should be bootable on its own.

After that, if you find it is still booting from the other disk, that is because the other disk is first in bios boot order.

For Windows 11 supported upgrades the partition needs to be GPT.

If you boot using a MBR drive there may be problems if booting UEFI without CSM.

So consider MBR2GPT.

Post images of disk management and mini tool partition wizard.
(for disk management make sure that these columns are widened so that no characters are cutoff: Volume and Status)
Also widen the rows for the drives so that no characters are cutoff: disk 0, disk 1 etc.

Post an image of msconfig boot tab.

Hi there
In your bcdboot command c:\windows /s S: /f UEFI where s is the boot partition on the gpt drive
In diskpart you need to mount the "system" partition (the EFI one -- in diskpart select disk xxx , list partition select partition xxx assign letter=S then exits and run the bcdboot command
the system EFI partition should be the 100M (or however big you made it).

Cheers
jimbo

What had happened on each drive that there are multiple system and or recovery partitions?

If possible, logon to Ten Forums to run the bat scripts in post #6.

If all attempts fail, you can do like I had to do when I had my boot partition move to drive D. I made a system image with Macrium Reflect of the C drive. Then I made a Macrium rescue disk to boot from. Then i made a bootable Windows install usb drive. I then shutdown the computer and disconnect drive D. Then I did a clean install of Windows on the C drive. After I was sure everything was working, I booted the computer with the Macrium rescue disk and restore the image of the C partition over top the new C partition (just the C partition). I tried every suggestion I found, and nothing worked.

@rayzor,

You need to give the EFI System Partition highlighted below a drive letter, such as S:. Then once it has a drive letter, you need to run the command given earlier:
bcdboot C:\Windows /s S: /f UEFI
