Hi,

I have 3 devices.

2 Desktop PC'S (Windows 11)
1 Windows 10 laptop

I have chrome installed on all of them however 2/3 function as I want but one doesn't.

All 3 versions of Chrome are the same, along with the settings.

The issue:

I visit a site that is a web app.
I type my credentials into the web app and it logs in fine. (I have 2FA set up for my account)
Once I have finished using the web app, I simply sign out of it, close the tab and then clear the cookies in chrome via the 3 dots, more tools, 'clear browsing data..' and I press 'clear data' (all default settings)
I then close the browser

The next time I load the browser up, I visit the same site and log in to the web app (my user and pass is saved) and it logs in fine (It does not prompt me for my 2FA even after clearing the data). This is what I want!

Now the issue is, I do the exact same steps above for one of my PC's but after clearing the data, I close the browser, open it back up and when I sign in to the web app, I'm prompted with 2FA so I have to receive a text/call to verify my account.

My question is, If all 3 Chrome's on each separate device are the same with the same settings, why do 2/3 devices function as I want them to but one does not? Why am I being prompted with 2FA for one device and not the other 2 for this site. I'm using the latest version of Chrome btw.

I hope I explained it ok.

Thanks

Are you logged into Google on all 3 of the devices?

No I am not (I use guest on all) so never logged in. It's really weird how 2/3 devices work as I want but the third does not.
Sry, I do not understand your response. About Google guest mode.

So I am now assuming it is not Google (which thought you were using with Chrome) for 2FA.

Your should probably contact the Web App admin and / or the 2FA admin and see if they can see why this is happening.

Sorry, what I mean is using Google as normal (without signed in to any account)
