Computer Chair Recommendation

If you can go sit in them, you should get a pretty good idea if you'll like sitting in it. After years of having faux leather chairs where the coating often started flaking off, I got the mesh chair. It's comfortable, cool and no issues with the mesh whatsoever. Try to sit in your normal position, see if the arm rests are comfortable in their position. Sit up straight as if typing, and also relax and sit back as if watching a video, or waiting for a process to complete. Make sure the seat length is good for where it hits your thighs and that your feet sit flat on the ground. Every chair I ever tried had height adjustment

My chair has a million adjustments, but I have it set up to tilt back a bit when leaning back. I took the lumbar out as it just pushed on my lower back too much. I spend hours in my chair and it's never uncomfortable

Only you can say if a chair is right for you. After that it's price and features

The first chair I posted I tried that chair out. It felt very comfortable as there was no lean back at all. It was like sitting upright and very comfortable. However, I could not lean back at all if I wanted to. When I used google translate for the details, it does say the word tilt. So if it has the word tilt, that means it can recline then right? Most likely it was tilt locked which is why I couldn't push it back?

If you check out the 360 photo of it, notice how there are like 2 things you can adjust? I am pretty sure the one below it and not to the side is the height adjustment. The other one on the side is the tilt thing?

How do you know if a chair has a tilt option if you are checking the chairs out? When I was at the store, lot of the chairs I tried, I noticed the obvious handle that is the height adjustment where you can go higher or lower. The tilt option... tilt is reclining correct? So that would be somewhere else below the chair correct and not on or right next to the height adjuster?

The thing is does that tilt thing is very clear to anyone checking below the chair? So there should be like 2 things under it if it can height adjust and tilt? The chair that I linked and said felt comfortable, there are like 2 levers in the 360 degree photo of it. So one is the height adjuster and the other is the tilt option correct? So if you check other office chairs at the store, if it doesn't have 2 levers, then it can't tile correct?

Thus it either

1. Can't height adjust or tilt

2. Height adjust but not tilt

3. Both height adjust and tilt?

Is that correct?

My other thread was getting very long so I want to make the quicker one. I want an office chair where I could use for at least 12 hours a day minimum and even longer. I use 3 monitors total including my laptop monitor so I move my neck around a lot on a 6 foot folding table that I use. I use a wired keyboard and a trackball mouse so you understand the setup that I am using.

I tried this office chair below at the store not long ago and it feel comfortable because the moment I sat down on it, I was sitting upright in a straight position where there is no lean back at all. Like 90% of the chairs at that store leaned back which i did not like and didn't feel comfortable. Is the one below good? It doesn't seem to offer option to recline? However, is reclining a big thing? You only do that when you want to relax on the chair for a short bit right and never recline when you are actively looking at your monitors?

The link below seems to be the same office chair? When you check out the video on each of them, it's literally the same video. However, is it ridiculous that it costs $200 and it can't recline? Again, I don't want to recline when I'm on the computer 12 hours a day looking at monitors and moving my neck around... but you at least want this option when relaxing like watching youtube or something like that?

How does the techni mobili office chair compare to these 3 office chairs below? They all look the same but these 3 below all can recline I believe? So if you had the option of buying the officedepot.mx/techni mobili one or the ones below, which would you choose? Assembly should be simple with all of these? The ones below cost less than the officedepot.mx/techni mobili one from the two links above. That one doesn't seem to recline but these 3 below do?

No one knows your back like you do, thus my suggestion is to go to a local office supply store like Staples, Office Depot and try a few chairs and go from there.

BTW, the other thing you might consider comfort wise is how your neck and head fit in the chair, cause that wrong, can cause a lot of discomfort.

Good luck.

I already went to a local office supply store already. I tried the first chair and immediately it felt comfortable because I was sitting in an upright and straight position. 90% of all the other chairs at the store there was always a lean back which I didn't like. I'm not sure how anyone can be productive especially if you are constantly moving your neck left and right when looking at 3 different monitors for 10 hours a day or more in any sitting position than an upright position? However, I know that chair doesn't recline at all so is that a big thing or not? Someone commented paying $200 for a chair that doesn't recline is a hard sell.

What I did recall was the headrest was not comfortable at all at the store and didn't seem to fit? It was like if I'm sitting down straight and upright, the moment I put my head back on the headrest, it wasn't correct so I didn't my head back at all. I had to like move the headrest back where my head doesn't touch it or even remove it?

Do you have any opinion on the other 3 chairs I posted in my link? The thing is the last 2 chairs, the depth seem to be longer than the link before that. Is that a big issue? The thing is shouldn't all office chairs that look like that with the headrest have a very similar seat dimensions regardless?

Without having never sat in those chairs, no. But this > is more me. And comfort being a personal thing I'll only ask if you can sit it in all day?

Take measurements of a chair you have now and compare those to the measurements listed. This gives you an idea of what the chair is like ;-)
