There are more metric numbers being used but we still have a long way to go. For an example more and more products are now measured in liters (litres) instead of ounces, pounds, pints, quarts and gallons and so on. My opinion on this is it's so they can sell us smaller quantities for a higher price without us suspected that they actually raised the price.We're using the metric system, but it's hidden. An inch is defined as 25.4mm.
