I am guessing that I should probably post this somewhere else so sorry, if this is the wrong place.

I was using my Geekom XT13 Pro this morning and all of a sudden my monitor lost the signal with the pc. I can't give you the information for the windows version on my Geekom XT13PRO since I had to go to my old Dell xps8700 computer running windows 10.
Anyway, I checked all the connections and everything was secure. I then decided to check to make sure that the monitor still works and connected it to this old desktop computer using the dvi port and it is working without any issues.
I had the monitor connected to the Geekom using a HDMI to VGA Adapter 1080P, HDMI male to VGA female adapter and all has been working without any issues until this morning while in the middle of using the computer when the monitor lost connection with the pc. If I had the ability to connect the monitor (HPS2031) using the DVI cable to the Geekom I would to see the monitor gets the signal that way, but I don't have an adapter and there are no stores around here for me to pick on up at.
Any suggestions on how I can check to find out if it is just that the connector went bad or what I may need to do?

An HDMI to VGA adapter is an active device. (VGA uses an analog signal. HDMI is digital, only.)

It's possible that the adapter has failed.

I'd have used an HDMI to DVI-D adapter cable (passive) from the start. I'd probably have bought it from Amazon.
