Solved Context Menu edit needed for Dropbox

I have the latest version of Dropbox installed and it shows up in my context menu twice. I remember years ago (I think on Tenforums) there was a thread that explained how to manually add/remove things from the context menu via Regedit, but A.) don't remember it, B.) Not sure the location is the same in Win11 anyway.

Here's what I mean:

If I do remove one set, I'm not sure if it's better/safer to do one over the other, but my guess is I want to get rid of the ones at the top and leave the "Dropbox Section" alone since it seems like that's what they were going for?

Check Dropbox Settings first to see if you can disable Explorer integration, then see which ones, if any, disappear...

Sadly, I don't see an option to turn on/off Explorer integration in the Dropbox app.

I can't tell from your pic if you've already done the tweak that gets the Windows 10 context menus... back.

It's the 1st tweak, here...

Yes, I did the tweak to remove the "More Options" or whatever it was called and got the old context menu back, that's when I noticed Dropbox being there twice.

It's kind of off-topic from the original post, but I also noticed I'm missing the "Edit" when right clicking on an image... If possible, I want that option back and have it open Photoshop instead of Paint (or whatever the default is in 11)

I also use Dropbox...without the app.
I just log into dropbox whenever I want to use it...



You can also try shellexview...





Most of the "inards" of Win 11 are the same as Win 10.
Just go slow.

As always... it's best to make a backup of Windows BEFORE you start messing with it.
Most of us on here use Macrium Reflect (free or paid) for that...

Thanks for the info... I forgot NirSoft had that... (I use nircmd all the time). And I've already created backups of the computer yesterday before starting any of this, so that's good. I just don't have bootable media yet.

I used the reg files from the link @Brink posted. As I suspected, it removed one set of the links and not the other (which is what I wanted)...

any solution for this? ShellExView doesn't work.
