When I try to launch copilot in edge in I get message "its not you its me".

I have tried repair the app, resetting the and uninstalling the app but when i reinstall from Microoft store the Copilot still will not launch in Edge. However you can open it from the Microsoft store.

To determine the cause, you have to narrow down what it's not before you can determine what it is.
Things to try in no particular order.

Test with browser addons disabled.

Repair copilot from Settings>apps>installed apps>Microsoft365 copilot>3 dots>Advanced options>repair. If that makes no difference, try reset option.

Make sure it's not turned off by group policy
Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Copilot, then double-click on Turn off Windows Copilot,
If the policy is enabled, it's turned off.

Make sure you have no corrupt system files that is causing this problem. Open a command prompt as administrator and type
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
When complete restart. Then open command prompt as admin again and run sfc /scannow
Pay attention to the scan results to see if SFC found anything it could not repair

Prove whether it's a windows issue or a user account issue by testing using another account.

You can prove it's not interference from some other app by testing in clean boot state. If copilot works in clean boot state, you have some software causing the issue. Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 11 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts

There are a number of tweaks that disable co-pilot. Have you applied any of them. Go here and search the tutorials for "copilot" Tutorials

After entering the "......retore health" command, it comes to a stop at 62.3%. See screenshot below.

That's the first thing that is not normal. Would you please try it one more time.

His Windows 11 version 26200.6725 is a preview build, which means it's part of a beta release. Specifically, it was made available to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Channel on September 29, 2025, as part of the KB5065789 update.

Update:

After I wrote that, I see that the current released version actually is 25H2 26200.6725.
