Have you tried using the Crucial Optimjztion Utility? See Crucial X9 Pro Support That link is for the UK Support Site, but should offer to switch location if necessary.

I don't believe 'legacy' e-mail support is available,. You now only have the options of using the ChatBot during the stated 'office hours', or 'phone contact.

Micron had announced in Dec-2025 that it is discontinuing the Crucial Consumer Business division and exiting the consumer market altogether. So if these are newly bought, would recommend to get them replaced or refunded.

Merely a suggestion from my side.

It's most likely the usb interface at issue. Swap the drives to the opposite enclosure and retest.

Micron also announced they are still supporting the warranty of previously purchased Crucial products.

As months and years go by there might be an impact on the retail vendors and support infra for consumer grade Micron products. They might not be able to give prompt or required level of support. The wait times for replacement products, no company repairs any memory product these days, will go up.

Again this is merely my view point. I am not saying that you should not retain or buy Micron products. There were my first go to choice for RAM and SSDs. And I still hold their products in high regard.
