delayed internet connection on PC after hard resetting router.

Now everytime I boot my pc I have to wait for the connection to be established whereas before it was just instantly connected to the Internet on startup.
That a bug that has existed since the late Windows 7 days, where I suspect an update introduced this and ever since, this became common!
So it's common to have to wait, like it's dial-up, LOL. Possibly a lot longer than dialing up my 56K modem in 2005!

It's not like it's a big problem anyways but I have become stubborn and adamant on figuring out how to solve it as it seems like a fixable problem
