After you created the recovery partition, did you disable recovery, copy the recovery files into it, use reagentc /setreimage command to point to the Recovery\WindowsRE folder in the new recovery partition, then re-enable recovery environment?Yep...that is exactly what I did except that once I enter the ID to convert a simple volume (logical or primary) to a Recovery Partition it doesn't work. I saw that video and there's another one just like it.
