I get annoyed with my PC being cluttered with apps I don't want!
I know some weeks ago there was much discussion about this app not being removable. Did anyone find a way?
(Or at least hide it from the All Apps list).

Since I won't use my "all apps " list more than once a month, if that, I never see it so it doesn't bother me that it or any other Windows app I'll never use is there. Out of sight, out of mind. I've gotten rid of a few that affected my resources, and stopped a few from auto-starting but have never worried about the rest.

I checked my Windows 11 Pro install, and it is configured as per the screenshot. Note the Windows Backup service is on manual and isn't running. I've never changed this, so I assume it is configured this way by default.

You could try disabling the service (under the 'Startup type' dropdown) and see if there are any hiccups.
